If you are planning to visit Sovereign Grace Church with children up to and including year six, then the great news for you and them is that they will get to be a part of Generations for the morning. We are aware that being in a new environment can be hard for them, but once they're signed in and dropped off, we have every confidence that they'll be loving it!
Babies & Toddlers: (0-36 Months)
At Normanhurst Boy’s High School we have a crèche just for this age group. This crèche is fully staffed from 10.15am onwards and is kitted out with loads of stuff to keep young minds active whilst the main hall meeting is going on.
Don’t feel that you have to use it though. If your child is quiet and you’d rather them in the main hall with you, then that’s fine too. There is an area set aside for those with strollers, realising that a little extra room can always come in handy.
Children: (Pre-school to Year 6)
We believe that the simple message that Jesus died for our sins can and should be taught, even to our youngest children. A primary way we do that is by using the ‘Praise Factory’ curriculum, which has been developed by Connie Dever, wife of Mark Dever, senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, Washington, DC. Praise Factory delivers a systematic theology curriculum for children, through stories, crafts, games, rhymes and a lot of fun. All the children from three-year-olds to year six participate. Take-home sheets are available to parents to use during the following week.
For this age group we offer two classes:
Adventurers: Pre-school - Year 2
Conquerors: Year 3 - Year 6
